Chen-Hsiang is an architect, innovator, and inventor, focused on environmental architecture, sustainable design, and creative problem-solving. He continues to challenge, redefine and explore the possibilities of design thinking for more than human worlds.

          Previously, he served as a senior architectural designer at Miniwiz from 2013 to 2016, an Internationally operating design company dedicated to sustainable architecture and circular economy consultancy. He has helped setup the design workflow of environmental performance analysis for the company. In addition, and beyond the responsibility for leading a design team, he was primarily responsible for pitching architectural design to the clients, including Nike, GQ, Jackie Chan and other well-known brands in the world.

          In 2016, he co-founded Bionicraft, an innovative startup dedicated to food waste upcycling based on bio-technological design. Served as the chief designer, he led this innovative company to finalist status at the World-Changing Ideas by Fast Company in 2017, Design for Asia Merit Award in 2017 and Audi Innovation Award 2nd Prize in 2018. By the products, materials, and systems he designed and invented, Bionicraft has helped reduce more than 50 tons of food waste per year globally since 2016.
